Letter From the President – Ron Thompson

Dear IIMDA Members and Partner Members:

I trust this message finds you in good health and high spirits. It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I write to you today as your newly elected President. Serving in this capacity for a second term is both a privilege and a responsibility that I do not take lightly. However, I could not do this alone. The Board members Brant Rathe, Will Whitney, Jeff Loreaux and Vince Fuemmeler are a terrific team to work with. And, no words could describe the gratitude that we have for Marketing liaison Kevin D’Arcy and our Executive Director, Sara Thompson, whose dedication and determination to provide great content and venues allow us to enjoy our time together.

As we embark on 2024 together, I am energized by the potential for growth and success that lies ahead for each of your businesses and our association. Your continued dedication and support have been the driving force behind our achievements, and we (the Board) are honored for the trust you have placed in us to lead this exceptional community of businesses and vendor partners.

Throughout the year, our focus will be on providing you with key information and resources that are crucial for steering your businesses into the future. The landscape of our industry is ever-evolving, and it is our collective duty to stay ahead of the curve. We are committed to delivering insights, strategies, and support that will empower each of you to thrive in today’s dynamic marketplace.
Collaboration and trust have been the cornerstone of our success. Together, we can capitalize on opportunities and continue to build a robust and interconnected community.

I encourage you to actively engage with each other, share your ideas, and participate in our meetings and outside our meetings. Also, your feedback is invaluable, and it is through open communication that we can ensure our organization remains responsive to your evolving needs.

Thank you once again for entrusting me with the role of President. I look forward to the exciting journey ahead and the collective achievements that we will celebrate as a united and thriving community.
