Fall 2021 Meeting Preview – We’re Getting the Band Back Together

It’s been too long since we’ve met face-to-face, however, the IIMDA Board is pleased to announce that this year’s fall meeting will “Zoom-free” as we get back to our in-person meeting format.

The IIMDA 2021 Fall Meeting will be in Charlotte, North Carolina, at the Ballantyne, a Luxury Collection Hotel which is part of the Marriott group. The dates are November 3-5 with the usual check-in and reception/dinner at the hotel on Wednesday evening – meeting all day Thursday followed by dinner at a nearby class “A” place chosen by our Charlotte host, Matt Solomon from AIS – half day meeting on Friday, thus enabling those who wish to spend the weekend at home, ample time to return home in time for a full weekend with the family. For those who would like to combine the meeting with some leisure time in the Charlotte area, we have negotiated the usual reduced hotel room rate for three days ahead and three after the meeting.

Transportation to and from the airport is simple using cabs, Uber, Lyft or shuttle.

As usual, we welcome any input for the agenda of the meeting – ideas, topics or speakers. The Board will be meeting on May 25th to establish the agenda, so “soon” is the time for suggestions. Call, write or text anytime and anyone.
