2026 Spring Meeting: Collaboration, History, and the Future of IIMDA
April 13–15, 2026 | Sawgrass Marriott, Ponte Vedra, Florida
The 2026 IIMDA Spring Meeting brings members together in Ponte Vedra, Florida for three days focused on collaboration, shared growth, and practical strategies for navigating a rapidly evolving document management landscape. From reflecting on the association’s history to exploring AI, recurring revenue opportunities, and real-world sales challenges, this meeting is designed to balance strategic thinking with actionable takeaways.
Monday: Arrival and Networking
The meeting kicks off Monday afternoon with arrivals and check-in, followed by a Welcome Reception at the American Gator Club. This relaxed setting gives members the opportunity to reconnect, meet new attendees, and set the tone for a collaborative few days ahead. Dinner at the hotel continues the networking and informal discussion.
Tuesday: Strategy, Collaboration, and Shared Growth
Tuesday begins with welcoming remarks and a State of IIMDA update covering membership, financials, and future meeting plans. These updates help members understand where the organization stands today and where it is heading.
The morning then transitions into a featured presentation: History of IIMDA: Where We Came From, What Made Us Strong, and What the Future Could Unlock. This session reflects on the values that built IIMDA, including trust, openness, and collaboration, and explores how those same foundations can guide the group’s future direction.
Later in the morning, Docufree presents on building recurring revenue through repeatable packaged solutions, followed by lunch sponsored by DataMart.
The afternoon focuses on new ideas and collaboration:
- New member introductions from IMA and MOEbiz
- Netra Labs presentation on digital accessibility and usable documents for assistive technologies
- Collaborative IIMDA: Turning Membership into Shared Growth, a roundtable exploring referrals, overflow work, co-delivery, and shared resources
- “Things That Work” roundtable for peer-driven insights and best practices
The day concludes with a cocktail reception and dinner, continuing the tradition of relationship-building that has long defined IIMDA meetings.
Wednesday: Sales and AI in Practice
Wednesday morning shifts to practical execution topics.
The first session, Overcoming Sales Objections in the Document Management Space, uses member survey responses to identify common objections and discuss effective ways to respond. This interactive format allows attendees to share real-world experiences and proven approaches.
The final working session, AI in Practice: What’s Working, What’s Not, and What’s Delivering ROI, explores how members are applying AI in real workflows today. The discussion will focus on measurable outcomes such as time savings, improved accuracy, and margin improvements.
The meeting concludes with wrap-up remarks and key takeaways.
